Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)

We support a wide range of clients – from local businesses to global corporations, governments, banks, and institutional investors – with their transaction banking, financial markets, and financing needs. 

We serve over 20,000 clients across more than 50 markets, operating in some of the world’s fastest-growing economies and most active trade corridors.

We hire graduates, interns and apprentices into the following areas within CIB.

Client Coverage - They lead the management and development of our client relationships globally, working across our global network together with our product partners to deliver working capital, financing, trade, cash and financial markets solutions for our clients.

Markets - Our Markets business provides clients with risk management, financing and investment expertise, through bespoke solutions across asset classes.

Global Banking - Our Global Banking team provides credit and advisory solutions to Corporate and Financial Institutions clients across the world. Global Banking’s comprehensive product capabilities span across loans, bonds, structured credit and advisory solutions.

Transaction Services - Our Transaction Services division delivers innovative solutions across cash management, international trade, supply chain finance, working capital, and treasury advisory. We empower clients to manage their daily operations through cutting-edge digital platforms and data-driven insights that fuel smarter decisions and sustainable growth.  

Strategic Solutions & Advisory - The Strategic Advisory & Solutions team delivers customised advice by utilising the Bank’s global expertise and global network. They help set the Bank apart with sectoral knowledge, advise on cross-border topics, and support income diversification across markets and business segments.

Coverage Banking

Join our Coverage Banking team and gain first-hand experience supporting some of the world’s leading corporates, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients. As part of the client-facing arm of CIB, you’ll work alongside experienced bankers to help deliver integrated banking solutions, build client relationships and support strategic growth opportunities across markets.

With our unique international footprint, you’ll gain exposure to cross-border business, global clients and real-world banking challenges. You’ll work across teams, products and geographies while developing the commercial, analytical and relationship-building skills that underpin a successful career in banking.

Markets

Our Markets team helps clients navigate complexity, seize opportunities, and manage risk across asset classes. From foreign exchange and interest rates to debt securities and commodities, we deliver bespoke solutions that power global trade and investment.

Financial Markets sits at the heart of our Corporate and Investment Banking business, connecting clients to the capital they need and the opportunities that drive growth.

Structuring - Design and price complex financial products. Combine quantitative modelling with commercial insight to deliver innovative client solutions.

Global Banking

Our Global Banking team provides credit and advisory solutions to Corporate and Financial Institutions clients across the world. Global Banking’s comprehensive product capabilities span across loans, bonds, structured credit and advisory solutions.
